One of the good things about having a house for sale is that you get to buy fresh flowers every few days. There's nothing sweeter than freesias in November (well except maybe the pomegranates... I loooooooooooooove those juicy red reminders of summer. Yummy!)
No matter how much it's blowing and raining outside, these little blossoms make it feel like Hawaii inside. I like them so much I put them in the scanner and made a little painting.

So much depressing stuff going on out there, I've allowed myself to be distracted by the endless celeb gossip...what does this say about my character? Dunno. (I mean, do I really care if Britney's actually incubating another one? Sheesh...)
The Brits are so much more interesting -- how about that Amy Winehouse? Oh dear, oh dear, what an enormous talent going straight down the drain and here she is eclipsing the Spearling. Girl, get a grip!
I'm going to take a break from tidying up the house to practice for an open mic -- soon. Watch this space...
In other news, I actually went to the gym and did an aerobics class. Now if I can just keep that up...it was tons of fun and it's beyond me why I'm not in there every day.
I've put a fresh link of the month up for November. It's fresh, it's fun. Check it.
