March 15, 2006:

You can buy my jazz cd online at CDBABY.COM.

Here's a link to the Bluebird Cafe open mic webcast from October 2005

You'll find me at around 14:33 into the RealPlayer video.
(Scroll toward the end and you'll catch The Hogman in all his glory!)
If you don't already have it, you can download free RealPlayer here.

New link of the month is in.

Thanks to Katrina for getting me out to an open mic last week at Serious Coffee.
The Tak still sounds great, and host James Kasper had the PA and the little blue lights all set up, which made for a really nice evening.
(The gentleman who played Scott Joplin on a 2-stringed Chinese violin was absolutely amazing :)

Saw Karan Casey, a fine and most awesomely pregnant Irish singer, in concert last week.
What a gorgeous pure voice she has!

Looking forward to putting on the bluegrass shoes for a Laurie Lewis/Tom Rozum gig next week.
Now that's going to be one heck of a show :)

OK, St. Patrick's Day is fast approaching, so here's an Irish History Quiz to take after you've had a pint or two of the good stuff... of course you might then want to download your very own
screensaver to prolong the effect. :)

Next best thing to getting on a plane and getting the real stuff right where they make it. Ahhh.

(I had no idea you could actually get a "Kule Kube" Guinness fridge. Go figure. It's a top seller...)

What I've been reading...

Wow, I've been spending a lot of time at the gym or out and about, so the books have been languishing a bit, however, I'm working my way through:

Timbit Nation by John Stackhouse.

The remarkable life of William Beebe : explorer and naturalist by Carol Grant Gould
This is a lovely story about a Victorian gentleman raised in a different world. Very soothing.
