:: IT'S FEBRUARY... ::

We're having a majorly stormy west coast winter. Last week we were being lashed by big gusty winds and buckets of rain, so much that our roof sprang a leak. Sigh. A bit nerve-wracking to live in a neighbourhood that has so many beautiful old Garry oaks. When their roots get soggy they tend to come crashing down onto the road and onto people's houses. Yikes!
(Could this be the Revenge of the Ents?)

And I hate it when my favourite resort on Maui keeps sending me postcards...



Wah. Wah. Wah... (already had my fab vacation, time to work now).
Next trip: Looking forward to a visit to Boston and Rhode Island in May.

Speaking of photos, went to see the Linda McCartney photography exhibit at the museum.
It's really great, catch it if you can...
My favourites? Naked Paul with Baby (even though George was my Beatle)
and Stallion with Standing Stone.
The woman had talent and left us much too soon.
Especially meaningful now that film is going to get very rare.

Still hoping to get to see KT Tunstall (be patient, her site takes awhile to download its links).
She was in Vancouver a couple of weeks ago
and we couldn't make it over to see her. Double wah! She's going full tilt
knocking them dead on the Today Show and Conan O'Brien tearing up the Brit Awards
(she won for Best British Female, up against the likes of Kate Bush no less!) .
To the moon on a rocket! Go KT!!
