Heading into the holidays
We're back to damp days and green grass again, just a few patches of dirty snow still hanging around. So glad that's over...got plenty of exercise with all the shovelling, though, so it wasn't so bad if you didn't have to actually be anywhere. I will never complain about rain again...
Also been bringing in lots of firewood from the trees that came down in the heavy snow. Nice cherry wood, it'll burn beautifully once it's cured. There's nothing quite like a fireplace.

Moss Street Market had their Christmas fair this weekend. It's really wonderful, lots of very talented craftspeople, farmers selling seeds, winter veggies and apple juice (my favourite!).
I've added a new link to the Links section. It's all about how to make Irish soda bread, which my mum makes and she taught Yogi so now he makes loaves and loaves and loaves for everyone we know. His new name is Lord of the Loaves. Mmmm. Soda bread is such great comfort food.
Discovered a box of ancient cassette tapes of some of my first songwriting efforts and other things. I'm going to have fun converting those to mp3s and posting them in the listening room.
Stay tuned for some really ancient history.
We used up some free movie passes and went to see Jimmy Stewart in
It's A Wonderful Life on the big screen. [I cried!]
