Where did summer go? Someone please tell me...

I've been very tardy in updating this site, but here goes:

Nashville in June was great and not so great. I caught a really nasty bronchial flu on the flight down and the air conditioning finished me off. It was really hot and smoggy due to the forest fires raging over the border, and then the thunderstorms arrived.

On the upside, I ran into Patricia Conroy on the plane, touched Loretta Lynn's tour bus, and got to watch and hear some really great session players work on my demos. It was well worth the week coughing my lungs out at the Holiday Inn.
